Road Trip to Texas: 2-Day Drive from Colorado with Sullivan | AC Breakdown & Power and Love Event

Nate, Sullivan the service dog, and I kick off a 5-week adventure as we drive from Loveland, Colorado down to Watauga, Texas to spend Mercedes’ final week of college with her! 🚙🐕 In this video we share both days of the long road trip. On Day 1 we stop at the beautiful Oasis Travel Truck Stop near Salina, Kansas where Sullivan enjoys the dog park, we stretch our legs, and have dinner. Nate also has fun using his MaxxHaul on the truck during breaks. On Day 2 the truck’s air conditioning stops working about 90 miles from our destination, so we drive the rest of the way with the windows down. We also share a sad moment when we see a farm dog struggling in the heat on the back of a truck — I talk about the importance of taking care of our animals in extreme weather.
