Honduras is said to be one of the most dangerous countries in the world. It's gotten better since it ranked number one in the world for murder rates for five consecutive years, but it's still not a place you should visit lightly (especially the country's major cities). In fact, walking around the capital, Tegucigalpa, I felt more uncomfortable than ever. It was a sixth sense. The atmosphere of the city and the expressions on people's faces seemed somehow gloomy. However, it's important to remember that even in cities that are considered dangerous, there are relatively safe and dangerous places. And not everyone is dangerous. Hondurans are very kind.
