EL CONSUMO DE ALCOHOL PREOCUPA EN VILLACAÑAS

http://www.rtvcm.es In Villacañas, Toledo, a phenomenon is beginning to worry residents. Groups of young people are renting premises to meet and organize parties. The noise, the litter, and especially the heavy alcohol consumption among minors have prompted the City Council to intervene. Groups of friends meet every weekend at a local venue. There, they talk about their lives, have fun, and when night falls, it's partying and drinking. They say they can't find other alternatives or leisure venues where groups their age can hang out. Regarding alcohol consumption, the situation has reached such a point that the City Council has had to take action. A series of measures are being taken to raise awareness among young people, parents, and owners of these venues about the responsibilities each one entails. Now, it is hoped that the parties involved, especially the parents, will become aware of the situation. All this is so that young people can have fun in a healthy way, without disrupting the peace and quiet of the community. (15-10-2011)
