Metalhead's First Time Hearing "Merry Go Round" by BTS | Lyric Breakdown (RM Made Me Cry)

Metalhead reacts to and breaks down the lyrics of "Merry Go Round" by BTS from their album ARIRANG. Track 8 is psychedelic, emotionally heavy, and RM absolutely destroys me by the end. I translated the Korean sections from my vinyl copy using Google Translate, so I took some of it with a grain of salt. But even with that caveat, the themes came through loud and clear. This one feels like it's about fame, cycles you can't escape, and the quiet exhaustion of performing happiness. RM's section especially got to me. Coming right after "Swim" in the album, the contrast is wild. I couldn't help but draw comparisons to "Seesaw" too.
