Hi everyone! In today's video, we begin studying an introduction to iterative methods for approximating solutions to nonlinear systems. The method we consider is Newton's method. Similar to the method for approximating the zeros of functions, we use the linear approximation of a function to assist us, resulting in a linear system that needs to be solved in each iteration, whose coefficient matrix is ​​a Jacobian matrix.
