This was supposed to be our first time arranging a trip to Korea for our employees, and it went wrong right from the start?! We booked the wrong hotel, and the destination was 70 kilometers away from where we expected it! 😂 Ugh... I originally said, "You can go wherever you want, you can book everything yourselves!" But actually... I certainly assumed the hotels would at least be based in Seoul, hahaha. But they actually booked two places in Gyeonggi Province!!! We thought this trip was going to be a disaster, but it turned out to be our happiest trip of the year! This time it wasn't the familiar Seoul, but Gyeonggi Province, which is relatively unfamiliar to foreigners. Gyeonggi Province has 31 cities, bigger and more authentic than we imagined. It's not as glamorous as Seoul at first glance, but the more you explore, the more you discover what everyday life is really like for many Koreans.
