From there, we follow unmarked gravel roads through some of the most remote and scenic landscapes imaginable, passing through Rosmead and Schoombie — truly the middle of nowhere. With nothing but trust in our 27-year-old Gen 2 Pajero, we continue across lonely roads where help is far away and silence is everywhere. The journey ends at Waterlea on River, where we spend the night in a rustic, tended cabin beside the Teebus River, soaking in sunsets you don’t easily find anywhere else - Here, the Karoo offers its final gift.
