The 580 is the second smallest model in the current Ferretti Yachts range but it still packs a stylish punch. The boat bucks the trend in this sector for towering topsides and sky-high superstructure in pursuit of ballooning internal volume. As Jack Haines found out during this in-depth walkthrough tour and review filmed during the 2023 Düssedorf Boat Show (where the boat had its global debut), though the 580 doesn’t boast the interior space of some of its rivals, it’s a beautifully put together boat with a timeless elegance that few can match. On board, there are two interior finish options (Classic and Contemporary) and the option to have two or three bathrooms. For a boat of this size, three bathrooms seem like overkill and this configuration robs the owner’s cabin of its best asset, the mezzanine bureau that overlooks the main part of the cabin. It’s a luxurious flourish in this sector that hits all the right notes.
