last night, chapati series Recipe Ingredients Flour (I used the small one 1kg) Warm water Salt (A pinch of sugar) optional Cooking oil Procedure Place your flour in a bowl then add 5 table spoons of oil and mix it thoroughly Add in salt (and sugar) and mix well, use the palm of your hands in a motion suggesting grinding Once that's done add in your warm water and start kneeding As you continue kneeding you may add flour and water pole pole until your dough is well mixed and does not stick on your fingers. Cut the dough into small pieces and add about two tablespoons of oil, kneed your dough for about 20 minutes YES 20 MINUTES. Let it rest for about two hours,(If you aren't in a hurry, you can do other chores n between as the dough rests) then make small balls,roll into a circular shape, spread oil, make a whole in the middle of the chapati and roll it into (a stick like shape) once done coil the dough as shown in the picture. (This brings about the pages 😁😁) Do this With all the balls then cover with a dump cloth and let it rest for another 1 hour. Once done roll your dough into a circular shape then place it on your already heated pan. Let one side cook then turn the other side once you start noticing browning apply oil (I used cow boy) and cook both sides well. Serve with your preferred stew.
