Alcamo, la processione di San Francesco di Paola sotto la pioggia

There wasn't a torrential downpour comparable to the one that forced the faithful to disperse in 2018, but it didn't discourage the bearers of the sacred statue nor the then parish priest, Don Salvatore Grignano. However, yesterday afternoon's procession in Alcamo was still quite unusual, due to the light but persistent rain that, for a couple of hours, forced hundreds of umbrellas to open. Among those interviewed in the initial part of the film is the parish priest, Don Mario Bonura, who also talks about his missionary work in Madagascar, which he has carried out for twenty-five years.
