Inside The HAILE SELASSIE VIADUCT Construction in Nairobi 98% Complete

The Haile Selassie Avenue Viaduct is one of the newest road infrastructure projects currently taking shape in Nairobi. In this video, we take a first look at the construction site and explore the progress of the elevated roadway that will help transform mobility in the city. The viaduct begins near the Milimani Law Courts and extends toward the Kenya National Library Service Headquarters along Ngong Road. Once complete, the elevated corridor will provide a faster connection between Nairobi’s central business district and the Upper Hill area. A key part of the design is its integration with the Kenyatta Avenue Viaduct, which together will form a continuous elevated route helping to reduce congestion in the CBD and surrounding roads.
