Lecture 2-Define Materials and Section Properties (Design of Steel Structure in ETABS as per IS 800)

In this video, we look at an introduction to design of steel structures, advantages of steel as a structural element and different types of standard steel rolled sections. Also, we begin with modeling of our structure in ETABS and define materials and cross section properties at first. We look at how to create a custom cross section using Section Designer and also define steel deck section for slab.
