First session of a reading in Arabic and English of the Ottoman Naqshbandi jurist Muhammad Amin Ibn Abidin's (1784-1836) epistle entitled Ijabat al-Ghawth bi-Bayan Hal al-Nuqaba' wal-Nujaba' wal-Abdal wal-Awtad wal-Ghawth (Exposition of the state of the attributes of the saints in Islam) by Shaykh Gibril Fouad Haddad. The gathering began with the traditional Eid invocations for the three days following Eidul Ad-ha (Sacrifice Festival) 1447, corresponding to Jumua / Friday 29 May 2026, followed by one of the special supplications of Hizbul A`zam (prayer manual read on the Day of Arafa by pilgrims), followed by the exordium of Ijabat al-Ghawth.
