Trains in Cuba - Locomotives of Santa Clara [HD]

Filmed: January 13, 2023 Santa Clara, Cuba On a couples vacation to Cuba earlier this month, I hired a car and headed two hours down the back roads of rural Cuba in a 1954 Chevy to the city of Santa Clara. Upon arriving I walked around the roundhouse and maintenance depot (see slideshow at the end of video) where I got a good taste of what Cuban railways are all about, a mixed bag of endless surprises. The entire worlds railways are on display in this small tropical country and make for exciting train hunting. You never know what's about to pull in. It was only a short visit to the depot, a little under two hours but full of action. The Cuban people are extremely friendly and I recommend the trip for any railway enthusiast. It truly is like stepping back 50 years, in a good way. thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoyed the departure from the usual.
