Los Fantasmas del Caribe were a Venezuelan tropical and techno-merengue music group formed in 1989 by Peruvian musician, composer, and record producer Luis Alva Lescano in collaboration with his wife and Raúl Martínez Garaban. Their best-known songs include Muchacha triste (the first single from their release), Por una lágrima (For a Tear), Ella es (She Is), Más y más (More and More), Mi pequeño amor (My Little Love), Caramelo (Caramel), Bandolero/Aventurero (Adventurer), Carmín (Carmine), Celina (Celina), and Agüita 'E Coco (Little Water 'E Coco), among others; most of which were composed and produced by Luis Alva himself.
