But take it easy, because to prevent cracks, the oven needs to slowly acclimate to the heat. In this video, I start by carefully stoking the fire and take you through the process of building it up day by day. In the meantime, of course, I’m not sitting still. I’m making a simple fence with a gate leading to the pool for our future tiny house guests. A job that initially seems challenging… but ultimately turns out surprisingly well. Additionally, we take you to a beautiful wine village in the area for a delicious wine tasting – because what will a pizza be without good wine? And… we couldn’t resist: the first simple dishes are already going into the oven. Not official pizzas yet, but definitely a promising start.
