(Played and wrote description on 4/18) Added five more residents and got the last ocean expansion: Rachel, Wii U Sarah, Pian-Pian, and both of Araceli's kids from the Hypertranslate island. Rachel gets her own area slightly away from the mainland that is just a beach trail, random tiles arranged to look similar to her face, and a handful of Palette House props of her head by the property. The crushes die down a bit from day 2, but a few more pop up. Siobhan's crush also changes from Na-rae to Midori as I wasn't sure how a Mii getting a second crush worked since it was the first time it happened. Don't know how relevant that will be down the line, but it's worth noting. A love square happens very early on and Tenko does not take losing in it very well. The free travel tickets are a thing, but I use the first one on the winner of the square and since it takes a while to get the next one, they were stuck in depression for over half the play session. At least Wii U Sarah gets amusement out of them whining about wanting their pachinko machine back. Palette House stuff is done to fix item names, change the food from the tutorial into just the eShop e, make a clone of the many eShop billboards as television programming, and add the Rachel decorations to her land. News: Ai now has Tenta's car in her DNA after eating many Tenta's cars. Being Tenta must suck in this universe because every time you get a new car you have to worry about it being consumed for nutrients by random weirdos. He must have a lot of money though if he can keep replacing them. More eShop "plot" happens for all members of that group. After eShop #5 turned down Hiromasa for Mary on the previous day, the two are still on good terms and form the island's first household through their shared bond of committing money laundering. Mary also gave them the ability to grow giant since couples can apparently just do that in this game for whatever reason, so now they are even more powerful and influential than before. Their daughter inadvertently gets gambling added to the island lingo and worsens the residents' money lust as it's a subject Tomoko can use to befriend her. She also also threatens Sayaka's love life by captivating Hitomi, but that doesn't go anywhere thanks to Siobhán already showing me what happens when you choose a new crush for a Mii and they confess to Sayaka later. eShop #1 is still mostly just a living advertisement for the Nintendo eShop on the widespread billboards, but they get more exposure through the aforementioned television programming and it mysteriously winds up in Wii U Sarah's house. They also mess with Sayaka by earning her friendship by inviting her to play tennis with Kyubey, so that's a thing. Maria/Wanda rides on a playground frog while in a flower costume and gets placed in front of static images of real world animals to represent the "spirit of the wild". Finally, after all these years, I have caught a glimpse of the inner workings of the Miitopia Flower AI's brain and now understand the significance of why they feel the need to use Flower Power and spread the message of the angry earth instead of healing your team. Marijuana is now lore-relevant as Sono-chan brings up "the marijuana theft" (news report from the previous island) as a subject to bond with the guy featured in said incident. It is an important event in the timeline. I get persuaded into sharing odd personal info again as Clara asks about pointless items I own and I tell her it's a blue rock that someone dug up, painted, and then gave to me as a Christmas present.
