Coastal Jaegers: Sweden's Marine Commandos (Kustjägarna)
Kustjagarna is developed, equipped and adapted to primarily operate in what is internationally known as "green water operations", which can generally be described as the transition where sea meets land. Examples of this terrain are archipelago areas, delta areas, rivers and larger lake systems. The main task of the unit is information gathering/reconnaissance, but the unit also performs combat missions when the situation demands. Want to learn more about our work?
