Originally released in 2025 by ‘The Plot In You’, with some incredible vocals from Landon Tewers, how does MAPHRA take on this challenge? We explore the key vocal choices she makes, combining tremolo and vibrato, use of consonants and harnessing contrast between head voice and distortion. Using both vocal fry and fry distortion, MAPHRA has incredible use of texture, creating deep catharsis and emotion and a sound that is unmistakable.
