Skinnytok, el algoritmo más tóxico y aesthetic del internet

In this video, I speak from the heart about a topic that has been bothering me for a long time: SkinnyTok. That corner of TikTok where extremely thin bodies are glorified and where disordered eating behaviors are often disguised as "healthy habits." I talk about how this content affects our mental health, how it encourages constant comparison, and how, even as fat activists, we can feel displaced or uncomfortable in our own bodies. I share my experience as a content creator, how I've learned to identify these disguised narratives, and why it's important to question what we consume. I also reflect on the system that profits from our insecurities and how we can resist through self-love, community care, and critical awareness. If you've ever felt guilty about what you eat, how your body looks, or thought you're "not doing enough" to change it, this video is for you. 💬 Tell me in the comments if you've come across SkinnyTok, how it made you feel, and what strategies you've used to take care of your mental health in the face of this content. 📌 Follow me for more content on all my social media platforms; you can find me as @hypatia.rosado.
