It's located 80km north of Bangkok and quite nice for a day trip, if you are visiting Bangkok. It can easily be reached via train or taxi and offers a lot of historical, old temples and sides. Some of the temples in Ayutthaya are 600 years or older. Quite impressive. It's my second time in Ayuttaya, so I was quite curious to see how my family, who is still visiting me here in Thailand, would react to see a place like this, full with Thailand history.
