I show RFID blocking cards NOT protecting wallets + How to RFID shield your wallet & slim wallet

Now is probably a good time to RFID shield and NFC shield your wallet, purse and contactless cards from RFID scanning or NFC scanning devices including Android phones. The technology is advancing fast and credit card relay attacks are now proven to be possible. As recent as late 2024, an ESET Malware researcher has shown that NFC Relay Attacks are possible to withdraw money from ATMs (with PIN obtained through social engineering or phishing) or make payments with Contactless Credit cards without the PIN. RFID shielding cards or NFC blocker cards can be used to protect your wallet, purse and contactless cards, but I have found that they don’t always work OR stop working. Using an Android NFC Credit card reader app, I show what I found out about my 3 RFID blocking cards... not working as expected. Plus, I also show how I NFC shield, RFID block a slim wallet and purse to RFID protect them. It's a simple, easy way to put a Faraday cage around your wallet!
