I Don't Care Anymore (words & music by Paul Wade Wilson)
To access the playlist featuring Maria Campbell (which I will add to each time I upload a song featuring her), go here: • Daddy's Hands (with Maria Campbell) After I uploaded this video, I realized that in my guitar break, I played the verse with an incorrect chord pattern. When I played it, I came back immediately from F to C (the first time I went to F). The melody actually goes from F straight to G in that particular part of the song, then comes back to C. It comes straight back to C from F the next two times, but not the first time in the verses. I don't know how I made that mistake, and I don't know how I didn't realize it until after the video was finished and uploaded. Oh, well. If you missed the other two original songs that feature the theme of epic beauty, here are the links: Ode to Her: • Ode to Her (words & music by Paul Wade Wil... and Meaner than a Snake: • Meaner than a Snake (words & music by Paul... In the video, I mentioned that in the recording I made back in the day, I used chord positions to do the walk-down from G back to C, rather than just individual notes. Here's a video of Chet Atkins using a similar approach while playing the old Carter Family song, Wildwood Flower. The moment that I'm referring to is at 47 seconds. However, my chord positions weren't quite as elaborate. If I ever put any serious effort into recording this song, maybe I can rediscover what I did in that part of the song back in the day. :-) Listen to original singles released on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/5VX6Z...
