Hot Spring At Krabi | Hot Spring And Emerald Pool Krabi Emerald Pool Krabi Krabi is known for its hot springs. These hot springs attract countless visitors all through the year. This area is located in the jungle and features naturally hollowed bathtubs in the smooth stones. The water has a temperature from 35-42 degree Celcius In the south of Krabi province around 70km from the town are natures own hot-tub jacuzzis. They are known as Hot Springs as the water here comes from thermal springs originating deep underground in volcanic chambers. The mineral salts contained in the hot spring water are said to ease a number of health ailments like rheumatism & sking complaints. Although these medical claims are unproven , just lying down in the hot water with a musical water flow , while gazing at the clouds will leave you a positive vibe. We had a one hour stop at Hot Spring before heading to Emerald Pool. *********************************** Emerald Pool The journey to emerald pool begins at the wildlife sanctuary office and takes around 1400 metres walk through a forest path. Please carry a mosquito repellent and water if you are planning to visit Emerald Pool. Krabi is well-known for its outstanding natural beauty. Emerald Pool is one such place at Thung Teao Forest Natural Park , a forest rich in bio-diversity , with nature trail and a crystal pond. The forest is lush with old trees stretching upto the sky . Emerald Pool rainforest is home to spectacular flora and fauna with 2.7kms nature trail . The emerald waters are warm and crystal clear that makes a great place for swimming.
