My song ’Runner’ features drummer Louis Newsom (Louis has worked with Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Nathan East, Ledisi, Sheila E., Jeff Lorber) and Terminus Horns (The members of Terminus Horns have performed or recorded with The Floozies, Snarky Puppy, Josh Groben, The String Cheese Incident, Montell Jordan, The Shadowboxers and more). The song mixes elements of Lofi Jazz, Neo Soul, Jazz, Blues and R&B with electronic and acoustic production. The head recording and mix engineer on the project is Shawn Grove (engineer for Collective Soul, Seven Dust, Needtobreath, Matchbox Twenty and many others). More about 'Runner': I've started a series of projects aimed at networking and collaborating with other musicians/artists around the Atlanta area. 'Runner' is the first project of the series. There is a lot of unique talent in this city. I'm looking to connect with instrumentalists, vocalists, producers and composers of a wide variety of genre/styles who are interested in collaborating. Everyone involved was phenomenal and I'm so thankful for their contributions. My engineer and recording mentor Shawn Grove is a consummate pro.
