We installed new Ohlins ProDrive suspensions, AP Racing 4-piston 355mm-wide brakes, and new 18-inch Braid FullRace A racing wheels. We were invited to the Nueno Rallysprint, a rally I participated in a long time ago with the Suzuki, but ended up with a broken differential. So now, with the Subaru Impreza, we decided to return and finish the job. To complete the ASPHALT KIT, we installed 355mm AP RACING COMPETITION BRAKES, the ones Manuel Mora used on his Subaru rally car. In this video, we've just assembled the asphalt kit, including the brakes, suspension, and wheels. Guillem purchased asphalt suspensions to begin the asphalt setup. This way, he'll be able to compete in both gravel and asphalt rallies. Guillem isn't new to asphalt rallies. In 2016, he competed in the Aragón Asphalt Rally Championship, finishing runner-up in Class 1 Asphalt Rally and finishing third overall in the Mixed Cup. The gravel setup features Ohlins Prodrive suspensions, some of the best on the market. However, they were rebuilt in 2022 to repair a minor issue. During 2022, I had my gravel suspensions rebuilt to fix a dust cover that could cause problems, and after that moment, they've never been the same again. Now, we have three leaking suspensions, and I have to send them back for repairs. To avoid having to wait for the suspensions to be finished, Guillem decided to start assembling the asphalt kit for the Subaru. The new 4-way suspensions will allow Guillem to compete in asphalt rallies during the first half of the year. Among the events we want to compete in are: Nueno Rallysprint, Ourense Rally, La Llana Rally, Rally... among others. It remains to be seen if I have the budget and, above all, if the parts arrive. Now, just a few details are missing before we can start testing and properly configure all the settings.
