Tub Clean Cycle - LG WT7300CW TubClean Maintenance Cycle How To This is a demonstration of the LG WT7300CW Tub Clean cycle. The TubClean maintenance cycle should be run once a month or after every 30 cycles. It will remove residue from the tub and prevent mildew and odors. The LG ThinQ app sends me an alert when it needs to be run and if I forget, I've even received an email from LG to remind me. If odors are already present in your tub, try running the Tub Clean every week until the odor subsides. There are many different washing machine cleaning products that can be used, and it's always best to follow the instructions on the product label. The cycle in the video was estimated to last 1 hour and 8 minutes, but it took 1 hour and 14 minutes. Once the Tub Clean cycle is finished, the detergent drawer should be pulled out and the lid left open so the tub can dry. It's also a good time to wipe the lid with a soft cloth and remove any ring left in the tub with a microfiber cloth (do not use abrasives).
