the entire gcse biology paper 1 (taught by a medical student)

#gcses #gcse #biology I'm breaking down the entire of gcse biology paper 1 today. Were going over every topic in the paper 1 and going over how to get a grade 9. GCSE biology is quite content heavy, but I have managed to condense the majority of it down within 40 minutes Important note: this is for the AQA specification, however I did Edexcell and there is a LOT of crossover. The general principles in biology apply for EVERY specification, so it's still very useful for you. Also, this list is NOT exhaustive, meaning I have been incredibly vague in some areas and even skipped over some of the higher tier sections, for times sake and for the sake of the exam. I have made a conscious effort to include everything from the specification, especially the content that comes up the most often and gets you the most marks. At sections where you are going to learn things that comes up often, I have shown its importance by teaching a lot about it. This is a whistlestop tour to view before studying and remind you if you have any weaknesses. It's skipped over some parts of the spec, but in general it gives you a good scope. --- Timestamps 00:00 - 0:24 - Intro 00:24 - 6:20 - Cells, microscopes and cloning. 06:20 - 13:05 - Movement across cells 13:05 - 17:00 - Enzymes and shapes 17:00 - 22:38 - Circulatory and respiratory 22:38 - 25:30 - Communicable diseases and malignancies 25:30 - 31:26 - Bacteria and the immune system 31:26 - 37:40 - Photosynthesis, respiration and products.
