Cape Peninsula Fire | Fire fighting deployment still in place
Extensive fire fighting deployment is still in place across large areas of the Cape Peninsula. This following a major fire that broke out on Friday. Combined efforts by City of Cape Town Fire and Rescue services as well as Working of Fire, Wildfire Services and a number of other entities battled the blaze. While large parts are seemingly subdued for now with cooler weather conditions, a sharp eye is kept on all possible areas where possible flare ups might occur.
