【Tokyo Walk】Todoroki Valley photo tour「等々力渓谷と世田谷高級住宅街でお散歩スナップ撮影」 東京カメラ第218歩 写真家 加藤ゆか

I recently visited the Todoroki Valley walking trail, which has finally reopened to pedestrians after a long time. The trail was unusable in July 2023 due to fallen trees, but after restoration work, it reopened at the end of last month. So, about this area... Based on past experience, I had the impression that it's a pleasant place for a stroll but not ideal for photography. However, since I was using a 25-200mm lens, I thought, "I have both wide-angle and telephoto lenses, so I should be able to manage!" But, to begin with, there wasn't much to photograph, so I just enjoyed my walk and finished up. Next, we visited Todoroki Fudoson Temple, and Kato-san, who heard the singing of nightingales in the upscale residential area, started to get into the swing of things around here. The snapshots from around Oyamadai Station are pure Kato-san style. Continuing on, we went to Kuhonbutsu, where Kato-san photographed crows as models, and then, in a rather unexpected turn of events, the crows became jealous of Kato-san playing with a cat. We arrived safely in Jiyugaoka, and after a tiring walk, we stopped at a vending machine shop for some ice cream.
