A special trailer for "jABBKLAB: A Dance Spot Where No One Is Left Behind" has been released! This project, created by yurinasia, a choreographer and dancer hugely popular both in Japan and overseas, and ayumugugu, who creates a unique worldview by fusing video and dance, is not just a "lesson"; it's a dance spot that overturns conventional wisdom about dance: "No one is left behind." Experience and age don't matter here. Originally starting with 15 people, the number of students now exceeds 200. Beginners and aspiring professionals, children and adults, everyone dances in the same space, inspiring each other, recognizing each other's individuality and growing together. What is it that draws people so much? Let's delve into the appeal of jABBKLAB. Director Itaru Terai commented, "My sense that we're witnessing something incredible is growing every day. I saw the participants overflowing with emotion during the workshop tour in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. Yurinasia and her colleagues embraced that emotion and sublimated it into dance. They taught me that there are unexplored horizons in entertainment and expression. I hope you will also become a witness to this contemporary event." A special clip from the film has now been released! Yurinasia and ayumugugu, the leaders of jABBKLAB, are joined by a steady stream of students and their parents at a community center in Fukuoka Prefecture. Their ages and experience levels range from preschoolers to adults. Yurinasia explains, "We didn't separate the levels from the start." The students then engage in a dance battle. In a showdown between 20-year-olds and middle school students, each puts their heart and soul into performing the movements they've devised and practiced. When catchy choreography is performed, the waiting students immediately imitate it and cheer with enthusiasm, and when a spectacular move is performed, the entire venue, including the parents, erupts in cheers... jABBKLAB is not a dance school, but a "dance spot."
