ରେଡ୍ କଲା ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ | Odisha Vigilance Catches Veterinary Inspector Taking Bribe | Odisha Crime News A major anti-corruption operation by Odisha Vigilance led to the arrest of Veterinary Inspector Prafulla Haldar of Raighar, Nabarangpur district, while allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹80,000. According to Vigilance officials, the accused allegedly demanded the bribe to release subsidy funds under the Chief Minister's Kamadhenu Yojana. He also allegedly threatened to stop subsidy payments for all farmers in the village if the money was not paid. The entire bribe amount of ₹80,000 was recovered during the trap operation. Following the arrest, Vigilance launched simultaneous searches at two locations to investigate disproportionate assets, during which cash worth ₹8.24 lakh was recovered from his residence.
