In fact many dogs from rescues from German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, Boxers, Mix Breeds and Golden Retrievers make great service dogs. Not all dogs pass the service dog training and test. I felt better immediately. They provide independence and freedom for those that need it. Nala the service dog is instrumental in helping her Mom with daily task or getting to do things like go to Disney World.
