Construction of a large viaduct and the duplication of PR-151 between BR-376 and PR-438 in Ponta Grossa, spanning 5.8 kilometers, is underway. It represents an investment of R$ 160 million and is part of an agreement with the former concessionaire, CCR. This is yet another major project underway on Paraná's highways. PR-151 is receiving investments of nearly half a billion reais, with the duplication passing through the access to Ponta Grossa Airport and also with concrete restoration between the Guaragi interchange and reaching BR-277 in Palmeira. In today's video, you'll learn more about this first 5.8-kilometer stretch, which begins at the overpass construction site on BR-376 and ends at the Guaragi Interchange. We'll focus on the work front concentrated on building an extension between PR-151 and BR-376. In this area, expropriations were necessary to create a dual carriageway between PR-151 and Rodovia do Café. What we see here is the beginning of a total investment of R$ 257.2 million from the State Government to transform regional logistics. The stretch being duplicated is 5.8 kilometers long, with investments of R$ 160 million from the concessionaire CCR. The project is the result of an agreement made by the company that managed tolls and the government of Paraná, through the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office. These are the works for the viaduct extension crossing the PR-151 highway. At this point, this highway will also be duplicated, but only up to the junction that provides access to the Guaragi district, and not all the way to the city of Palmeira as some had thought. The duplicated section will be on regular asphalt, and after the Guaragi junction, it will remain a single lane, but with a concrete surface and, in several places, additional lanes.
