Ukrainian defense forces continue to disrupt Russian military logistics in the occupied territories. The aggressor lost a major fuel hub in Donbas as a result of the successful Operation Hell. Details and footage were published on the NSU Azov Corps account. The military discovered a large network of fuel storage facilities in the Donetsk region, 16 km from the state border. A combined drone strike was launched against it. "The heart of this system was a storage facility in Novoamvrosiivka, located on the grounds of a cement plant. Petroleum products were delivered by rail, stored in surface tanks and underground storage facilities. Then, tankers disguised as civilian vehicles transported them to the storage facilities of armies and brigades… All system components were damaged. First, the crane train, which could have cleared the blocked railway track, was destroyed. Then the track itself was blocked, struck at a point from which it could not be towed. The railway line to the base was blocked. Then the railway substation, which supplied power to the entire base, was destroyed. Finally, the fuel tanks were destroyed. The occupiers must clearly understand: we see them, we know their movements, and we will strike at the right moment," Azov stated. As a result of the operation, the Russians were forced to abandon the base. The aggressor transferred its logistics to Russian territory. It was also reported that Russia stopped the movement of ships through the Azov-Don Canal, fearing Ukrainian drones. According to Reuters, Russia has decided to suspend shipping through the Azov-Don Canal, which connects the Don River with the Sea of Azov, after Ukrainian forces attacked 13 Russian vessels, including 10 tankers, in the Sea of Azov on Friday, July 10. It is not yet known when the ban will be lifted. Several media outlets reported that numerous grain carriers are currently stranded in the Azov port in Russia's Rostov region, as they are unable to navigate the Azov-Don Canal. Russia exports a large amount of its wheat through this canal and subsequently via the Black Sea. Experts estimate that Moscow sells approximately 25% of its wheat via this route. The suspension of shipping along the Azov-Don Canal has already impacted wheat prices. On July 10, wheat prices on the Euronext stock exchange increased by 4%. Experts say this is not the limit. In June and early July, the Ukrainian Defense Forces intensified air strikes against Russian tankers in the Sea of Azov, as they transport fuel to annexed Crimea, supporting the Russian army and the occupation administration. Furthermore, the Ukrainian Armed Forces effectively blocked the "land corridor" from Russia to the occupied peninsula.
