This morning's chat with Eric Wagner from Trouble, The Skull and Probot was awesome. It's always awesome chatting with Eric since he has such a unique viewpoint. Went through from the Metal Massacre compilation to Trouble being signed to Metal Blade records.. the "white metal" label that they were tarred with. From there we talk about the evolution of the band where they got signed to Rick Rubin's Def American label and what that whole time was like -- hopefully those records are not lost in obscurity and they get pressed again! We touched on the whole Probot scenario with Dave Grohl and how the writing of that set of lyrics was an uncertainty. We also touch on The Skull and how the latest album "The Endless Road Turns Dark" was just super aggressive in comparison to the first.
