Coopers Stout with Steeped Chocolate Malt Grains | Kit to Glass
In this video I brew a Coopers Stout homebrew extract beer kit. In addition to the beer kit, I add a tin of Morgan's roasted dark liquid malt extract and some steeped chocolate malt grains. I also upgrade the yeast from the kit yeast to a Crossmyloof 04 English Ale yeast. This is a simple method of improving an extract beer kit with grain additions and it really makes a difference to the overall flavour and finished product. Recipe: 1 x Coopers Stout 1 x Morgan's Dark Roasted Liquid Malt extract (un-hopped) - any other brand with do just as good. 300g Chocolate Malt Grains, Steeped at 80 degrees C for 30 mins and strained. 1 Packed of Crossmyloof 04 English Ale Yeast.
