Gerson Borini: Mechanical Engineer, has a life connected to automobiles. Since the age of 10, he accompanied his uncle and grandfather to the mechanic's workshop and enjoyed the Vemag and VW quality assessment cars that his father brought home. At the age of 20, he entered the automotive field where he worked at Mercedes-Benz (2 years), BorgWarner (3) and GM (30). From 1989 to 1995 he raced in the Super Stock category (Opala 6 cyl). In 2004, he assembled the Chevrolet Endurance Team to compete in the Brazilian Endurance Championship (2004 to 2012), where he won several individual and team titles. At GM, he worked in Development and Validation Engineering at the Proving Ground and managed various technical areas in Brazil, the United States, and Latin America.
