UK's first refinery based hydrogen furnace arrives at Essar

#Essar has taken delivery of our new #hydrogen-powered furnace at #Stanlow, the first of its kind at any refinery in the UK. Capable of running on 100% hydrogen, the furnace paves the way to decarbonising Essar’s operations and cutting emissions at Stanlow by more than 240,000 tonnes each year from 2026. Stanlow is becoming the country’s first low-carbon refinery, as part of Essar’s long-term commitment to investing in and leading the UK’s low carbon transformation. We’re transforming for tomorrow.
