Six Cocked-Wah Tricks With The Magnetic Effects Midphoria v2

Welcome to Perky's Analog Gear Demos. Please subscribe for more demos of vintage & rare effects pedals! So...today, we have another new pedal from Datsuns guitarist Christian Livingstone - AKA Magnetic Effects. Well...kind of new, at least. Welcome to his newly-revised Version 2 Midphoria - a super-flexible cocked wah effect. At its heart, it's pretty much the same as the old Midphoria - but now has some additional tweaks to make it extra-juicy! The pedal now ups your 9v input internally to keep the pedal always running at 18v for extra headroom; the sweep now operates in a larger range; and most importantly, it now has a Width control to control the Q-factor of the boost. With the ability to blend the clean & filtered sounds - or run 100% wet or dry - this pedal can achieve everything from a pure clean boost to a mega-honky howl, with every subtlety in between. In this video, I'll be showing you 6 great tricks to get the most out of this pedal....running it pre & post gain, as well as enhancing clean tones and mashing up some dirty ones!
