Sustainable Foiling Boat Manufacturing with IMPETUS Sailing

What happens when student engineers get access to industrial-grade manufacturing tools? They build foiling race boats. We’re proud to sponsor IMPETUS Sailing, a student-led team competing in the SuMoth Challenge — an international competition where teams design, manufacture, and race sustainable foiling boats. Using AdaOne, the team printed and milled moulds for their foiling Moth components, turning digital designs into real, race-ready parts. From simulation to production, and ultimately to racing on Lake Garda, their project is a great example of how hybrid robotic manufacturing can accelerate ambitious engineering ideas. Congratulations to the IMPETUS team on their participation in the 8th edition of the SuMoth Challenge! At ADAXIS, this is exactly what drives us: making advanced manufacturing technologies accessible to everyone. Because the future of manufacturing is not only industrial. It is also educational, collaborative, and sustainable. #AdaOne
