EP01 - COMO EU ME ORGANIZO PRA QUANDO EU MORRER? | Temporada do podcast Conversas Sinceras
This is the link for you to join us on this journey: https://materiais.infinito.etc.br/par... Everyone has or has heard a story about the headaches that arise at the time of death: a gigantic unplanned expense, an argument with a relative at the bedside, a difficult probate process, and a whole lot of bureaucracy when your thoughts and heart are elsewhere. "For When I Die" is the new season of our podcast – and also the beginning of a movement. For me to get organized and for you to get organized. I am Tom Almeida, founder of the inFINITO Movement, which promotes Sincere Conversations about Living and Dying. In the eight chapters of this season, I will make decisions "For When I Die" and I invite you to make your decisions too. I have dealt with the theme of death for many years. But if I died today it would be a disgrace: I have taken practically no concrete steps for my departure. Sometimes death comes suddenly; sometimes, it follows a predictable process, like a long illness, for example. It can even take us by surprise, but – spoiler alert – it can't be avoided. After all, they say, "death is the only certainty we have," right? The truth is, no matter your age, death and grief deeply affect you, or will affect you. It's not an easy process – and it's usually much more challenging because we don't prepare ourselves minimally to deal with it. And I've decided to resolve this once and for all. Because on the day I die – which may be many, many years from now – I want my family to have as few worries as possible. I want to free those I love from the bureaucratic part; there will already be enough suffering. Getting everything prepared is an act of love. Organizing all this alone is difficult, and it can also be quite boring, so, to make it easier, you and I will do this together. My invitation is for you to join our WhatsApp group. There, we'll exchange ideas, share experiences, and strategize to get everything in order – whether death comes soon or in 30, 40, or 50 years. You'll leave this process knowing what's IDEAL and what's the MINIMUM to keep everything more or less organized.
