Freedom—An Inside Job, Always

Those wise souls of wisdom who survived the Holocaust have talked about the freedom no one can take from us, no matter the circumstances. We have the ability and responsibility to decide what we will think and believe, what we will ruminate over, what choices we will make in response, and what we value. Children absorb what their parents say is so, but as adults we are called to decide for ourselves. Are we free? What determines that?
