Fire on Our Farm! Real behind the scenes footage

#stephbartlett #farmlifeaustralia #farmfire I got a phone call from a neighbour the other afternoon, saying that he could see smoke and it looked like it was on our farm. Sure enough, there was a fire on our farm and the neighbouring national park in rural South Australia, and everything happened fast. This video is real, behind-the-scenes footage from the day of the fire and the aftermath. You’ll see local farm firefighting units, CFS crews, and National Parks firefighters working together on the ground, along with drone footage the following day showing the burn area and impact. I didn’t plan to make this video, but I felt it was important to share what actually happens when a fire moves through a rural area; the coordination, the calm under pressure, and the community effort involved. Thank you to the CFS, National Parks fire crews, and neighbouring farmers for their work and support. Honestly, we had such a great outcome which is no doubt because of the amazing efforts of all fire fighting crews involved. This video is a bit late for me to upload because it has been all systems go. Instead of editing a YouTube video the other day, I was out helping fight the fire.
