Naturehike Vik 1

A short review, maybe overview is a better word, of the Naturehike Vik 1 and how a taller person (6’3”, 75” 190.5cm) fits. I have not had it out to test in the field yet and this is my first time setting it up. Complete tent as shipped with everything including the footprint was 46.7 oz on my scale. Tent, poles and both tent and pole bags 34.6 oz Footprint in it’s bag. 6.1 oz Stakes and guy lines in their bags came to 6 oz. I plan on using a combo of six 9” carbon fiber Ruta Locura stakes and some titanium shepherds hooks that weigh 3 oz total including extra guy lines. I also am looking at options for a lighter footprint that isn’t horrible like polycryo, most likely the new Borah Gear DCF footprint that weighs in at 1.8 oz. This would take this already pretty light tent down to 39.4 oz.
