The receiver dryer separates the water vapor carried along with the refrigerant by the condenser. 4. The expansion valve regulates the amount of refrigerant entering the condenser. 5. The evaporator cools the medium, so when air passes through it, it also cools and is directed into the room. 6. The blower generates air that is circulated into the room and passes through the evaporator. 7. The AC switch regulates the temperature and turns the AC system on/off.
