【最先端】ふくしま森の科学体験センターが凄すぎた!【昆虫,フライトシュミレーター,福島の技術,サイエンスショー】Fukushima’s Science Museum was lots of fun!

This time we had a day out at the Fukushima Mori Science Experience Centre "Mushi Tech World" - "mushi" means "bug" in Japanese. The centre director, Takeshi Yoro, is known as the author of "The Wall of Fools". At Mushi Teech World, you can see live bugs such as Hercules beetles and rhinoceros beetles, snakes, frogs and more. Inside their "Wonder Why Land" you can learn about various bugs in a fun and interesting way. In the "SUKAGAWA Flight Academy" you can try piloting a realistic flight over Fukushima. At the "Science Stage" kids can participate in a science show, which Lily and Emma both joined. Some programs need to be booked in advance, and kids can try different experiments and crafts. Other areas include the "Renewable Energy Corner", "Experiment Room", "Creative Studio" as well as a restaurant, so you can enjoy a whole day there if you wish. Entry is 410 yen for adults, 200 yen for high school & university students, 100 yen for elementary & junior high school students, and free for kids under 6. When we visited they were also hosting an exhibit called "Amazing!
