Cycling in The Netherlands - Again! I leave my cycle helmet on the ferry - will I get it back?

Join us as we head out cycling in the Netherlands once again – we simply can’t stay away! This video is part one of our cycle touring and camping adventure through the stunning south of the Netherlands, packed with bikepacking, humour, and a love for exploring history, culture, and nature on two wheels. Watch me leave my cycle helmet behind on the ferry - will I get it back? Our journey begins following the overnight ferry from Harwich to the Hook of Holland, before taking a smaller ferry to Maaslakte, through the vast Port of Rotterdam. Battling mixed weather and strong winds, we ride towards Stellendam for a much-needed coffee stop, then cross the famous Brouwersdam, where we encounter incredible para-surfers in action. Day two starts with heavy rain and we push on to the beautiful old town of Zierikzee, where we explore its historic streets and architecture before settling in to dry out our gear for the night.
