Welcome to the first episode of my latest salvage rebuild project - a 2018 Ford Mondeo Vignale 2.0 Bi-Turbo in Deep Impact Blue. What looked like a straightforward Cat N repair quickly revealed an unexpected gearbox fault, so before ordering any parts I stripped the front end completely to assess the damage and check for any hidden surprises.
