Into the wild: bike packing glentrool on my new Kona unit x

2 days 1 night adventure into Galloway forest park with my new bikepacking machine, the Kona unit x. Travelled from loch doon to loch Dee then due to bad weather couldn’t camp at my first location so camped at loch Dee which was fantastic anyway. Headed towards Bruce’s stone then glentrool visitors centre then on to Stinchar bridge then last 6 mile or so on a beautiful gravel track back to my start point at loch doon. All in all in was a fantastic few days bikepacking, it had its ups and downs alright especially due to the single track kamoot took me along a boggy track for nearly 1.5 miles, totally not for bikes so I’d highly recommend not going this route to loch Dee from loch doon it was an absolute nightmare. My new bike the Kona unit x was an absolutely dream to ride, I had it fully loaded and it handled everything no probs even on fast gravel descents it was just solid, love the bike and will do a lot more adventures on it.
